It is important to note that many of the points raised and argued in my case would not normally arise in consumer claims against a bank for the imposition of 'unfair' bank charges.  Most of the issues raised in a normal claim brought by a consumer are being dealt with by the test case between the Office of Fair Trading and a number of banks; see the OFT Test Case page for the latest information.
